On Monday, March 16th, the Hartford School Board recognized the following three high school students for helping with an emergency situation during one of our spring sports practices. Each student received a certificate of recognition from Superintendent Blackmer and the Board of Education thanked them for their fast response and help. 03/16/2026 Hartford Community: This morning at approximately 9:32 a.m. a Redwood Elementary student had an incident that required medical attention. Our staff Medical Emergency Response Team acted immediately. First responders and the school nurse were quickly on the scene and attended to the student. We would like to thank our staff, MERT Team, Paramedics, SRO, and the emergency responders for their assistance. As always, our students/staff safety is our number one priority at Hartford Public Schools. 16/03/2026 Comunidad de Hartford: Esta mañana, aproximadamente a las 9:32 a. m., un estudiante de la Escuela Primaria Redwood sufrió un incidente que requirió atención médica.
