HMS Students of the Week (10/31/25):
6th Grade: Ethen Williamson - Ethen always comes to class prepared and ready to learn. If a student near him is struggling, Ethen offers to help. Ethen has an upbeat personality which makes him fun to be around. Way to show HUSKY Pride!

7th Grade: Noelia Huaracha-Rivera - Noelia is a great student who always does the right thing. She performs extremely well academically and sets a wonderful example for other students in the building.

8th Grade: Addi Campbell - Addi works hard and excels in her classes. She is respectful, kind and fun to have in class. Her teachers are proud of her efforts!

10/30/2025 Dear Parents, Guardians, and Community Members, At Hartford Public Schools, the safety and well-being of our students is our top priority. We are committed to providing a secure learning environment, and part of that commitment includes preparing for emergency situations in a proactive and effective manner. This morning we conducted a school-wide lockdown drill. These drills are required and mandated by the state of Michigan. In order to preserve the safety of our students and faculty, these drills are not posted ahead of time. We understand that drills may cause temporary concern or disruption, but they are a critical component of our emergency preparedness plan. Please be assured that all appropriate safety measures were in place and that the drill was conducted in a structured and sensitive manner. Thank you for your continued support in helping us maintain a safe and secure environment for all students and staff. 30/10/2025 Estimados padres, tutores y miembros de la comunidad: En las Escuelas Públicas de Hartford, la seguridad y el bienestar de nuestros estudiantes son nuestra máxima prioridad. HHS Students visited the Western Michigan University campus today. The Gear Up program offered a College Jeopardy tournament and then hosted a campus tour, lunch in the Valley Dining Center, and ended the day with an Admissions presentation. Thank you to WMU Gear Up for all you do for our students!

Reminder that there is a High School Competitive Cheer Parent meeting tonight at 6, but the location has changed to the MS Library. Please enter through the auditorium doors.

High School Competitive Cheer practices begin November 10th. See Coach Shafer with any questions. Physicals and Final Forms should be completed before the first practice.

Monday is Monster Monday (wear your best Monster gear)

Tuesday is Twin Day- Find a friend or a group of friends to dress like

Wednesday is Candy Corn Color Day

Freshmen- Yellow Sophomores- Red Juniors- White Seniors- Brown or orange

Thursday- Costume Day: We will be having our contest this day. If you want to enter please get your picture taken before 8 AM on Thursday. No weapons, face covering or extreme blood/gore!

Fallfest Friday- Pink Out: Wear all things pink for Cancer awareness

Reminder that our Fallfest Community Service Event is Friday, from 8-11:30.
