HMS Students of the Week! (2/7/25)
6th Grade, Iker Ferral-NavaI: Iker is a kind person who goes out of his way to help classmates all while doing his best in his classes.
7th Grade, Addi Campbell: Addi is a very intelligent student who participates in class and sets a great example for the rest of her grade.
8th Grade, Ray Bedwell: Ray always puts effort into the work he does. I can always count on a smile and good conversation from Ray!

Juan did an excellent job representing our school and JMG program at the National Student Leadership Academy in Washington D.C. Juan is also a member of the Youth Advisory Council, our state Career Association and will be helping to host a guest speaker panel at Legislative Day in Lansing. He is a proactive voice for civic engagement, getting his peers registered to vote. I am so proud of the advocacy he has done for our community and program. Keep up the good work Juan! Thanks for all you do!

Mara has shown excellent academic skills in chemistry and received one of the top scores in her last chemistry exam. Congrations Mara!
12th - Ahaliah McCoy, nominated by Ms. Braddock:
Ahaliah has been an exemplary JMG student throughout high school. She has stepped up to volunteer for many blood drives and contributed to many community projects. I appreciate that when I do class affirmations at the start of class, she always affirms me back with a "thank you, you too!" I am proud and excited for what she does next at SMC. Keep up the good work Liah!
