2025 Hartford Huskies Rocket Football Camp. All Rocket Football players are invited to the Hartford Rocket Football Camp. Players will learn the fundamentals of the Offensive and Defensive Positions. An early registration fee of $40 is due by July 1st. After July 1st, a late registration of $50 will be taken the first day of camp. Players are asked to wear Hartford T-shirts, shorts, and football cleats. Participants will receive a camp T-shirt for participating and it will be delivered at camp. Camp Schedule Wednesday July 30th 6:30-8:00pm Thursday July 31st 6:30-8:00pm The team camp will be located at the Hartford Varsity Practice Field. If you have any questions, please contact Coach Morsaw at 269 599 2986 or email morsawj@hpsmi.org. Please fill out the backside and return to the football program.

HMS Students of the Week (5/9/25): 6th Grade, Noelia Huaracha-Rivera: Noelia puts in hard work on every assignment to make sure it is done correctly and on time. Noelia is also a great help to her classmates and to the staff. Keep striving for great accomplishments! 7th Grade, Briseida Morales-Gutierrez: Briseida goes above and beyond in the classroom. She’s a great example for all students. 8th Grade, Melissa Bocanegra- Rodriguez: Melissa tries her best everyday in class, and isn't afraid to take risks, or make mistakes. She is also always ready to help a neighbor. For these reasons and others, all of her teachers are proud of her! (NOT PICTURED)

The middle school will be taking the NWEA test in math, reading, and science this spring. Each of the remaining Tuesdays of school will be devoted to a different test beginning with the NWEA math test starting tomorrow. Middle school students will test for the first three hours of school before heading to their normal classes.

Graduation practice will take place this Wednesday at 9:00 am in the high school. Please be on time. If you are not at practice, you are not walking at graduation. Redwood/MS Senior walk will be right after graduation practice.

The NHS has a very limited supply of Husky Blankets. These are heavy duty and last a really long time. They make great graduation gifts, excellent blankets for the car no matter the sports season, or a cozy blanket at home. Each blanket comes with its own case to keep everything neat no matter where you store it. Blankets are $60. Please email Heidi Macias at maciash@hpsmi.org or call the high school office at 269-621-7100 to get your blanket today! *Proceeds go to the NHS Giving Tree project.
