As staff checked the school grounds this morning, it was discovered that Redwood Elementary has no power. Due to this power outage, Hartford Public Schools will be closed today, Friday May 16. Graduation is still planned for tonight at 6pm, as the High School still has power. 2025 Hartford Huskies Rocket Football Camp. All Rocket Football players are invited to the Hartford Rocket Football Camp. Players will learn the fundamentals of the Offensive and Defensive Positions. An early registration fee of $40 is due by July 1st. After July 1st, a late registration of $50 will be taken the first day of camp. Players are asked to wear Hartford T-shirts, shorts, and football cleats. Participants will receive a camp T-shirt for participating and it will be delivered at camp. Camp Schedule Wednesday July 30th 6:30-8:00pm Thursday July 31st 6:30-8:00pm The team camp will be located at the Hartford Varsity Practice Field. Noelia is also a great help to her classmates and to the staff. Keep striving for great accomplishments! 7th Grade, Briseida Morales-Gutierrez: Briseida goes above and beyond in the classroom. She’s a great example for all students. 8th Grade, Melissa Bocanegra- Rodriguez: Melissa tries her best everyday in class, and isn't afraid to take risks, or make mistakes. The middle school will be taking the NWEA test in math, reading, and science this spring. Each of the remaining Tuesdays of school will be devoted to a different test beginning with the NWEA math test starting tomorrow. Middle school students will test for the first three hours of school before heading to their normal classes.
