Athletics Update:
This evening's Softball (DH) game vs. Brandywine has been cancelled.
This evening's Baseball (DH) game vs. Brandywine has been rescheduled to Friday May 23rd. 4:30pm start time - 3pm bus departure
Baseball vs Watervliet @Bangor for Districts on May 27 is being moved from 5pm to 6pm.
Redwood PTO meeting is cancelled for Thursday, May 22nd.
The Athletic Department will be partnering with Lawrence Community Care to hold physicals on school grounds May 28th, 2025. The cost for a physical will be $30.
The time of physicals will be from 2:00pm to 5:00pm.

Once signed up the Athletic Department will be in contact with you and will send home a form with your student-athlete that needs to be completed by a parent or guardian prior to having the physical done.
If your child plans on participating in a sport for the 2025-2026 school year we encourage you to take advantage of this opportunity for your student-athlete.

Superintendent Blackmer and an interview committee has selected Holly Bruning as the new Assistant Superintendent of Curriculum and Instruction effective July 1, 2025. Holly comes to us from Lawrence Public Schools where she has served as the MS/HS Principal for the past two years. Holly also has been a high school teacher for Kalamazoo Public Schools for ten years. She holds a bachelors, masters, and a specialist in educational leadership certification from Western Michigan University. Welcome Holly!
Madelyn Wilke has been selected as the new Kindergarten Teacher for the 2025-2026 school year. Madelyn has been student teaching and substitute teaching for the past two years. She graduated from Michigan State University with her Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education. She is currently enrolled at Michigan State University working on her Master of Arts in Teaching and Curriculum. She is endorsed in both PK-3 and TESOL. Welcome Madelyn!
