VBYI is inviting middle and high school students to a free, hands-on floral workshop series hosted by Holly Berry Flowers at His Place Outreach Center in Hartford this May!
Workshop Details:
📅 Tuesdays: May 7, 14, & 21
🕕 6:00 – 7:30 PM
📍 His Place Outreach Center – Hartford, MI
💐 Cost: FREE!
Sample Workshop Themes Include:

Fairy Garden Terrariums
Floral Crowns
Flower Garlands
Prom Corsages & Boutonnières
Faux Floral Wreaths
Students can join one or all three sessions and will take home their own floral creation each time. These workshops are a great opportunity to build new skills and enjoy a safe, welcoming space for creativity.

Redwood Walk with Your Huskies to School Day! On May 7th, parents are invited to meet at the Hartford Public Library and walk their Huskies to Redwood.

6th Grade: Paola Monroy Duran: Paola has kept the highest grades all year long in every class. Paola is always willing stays after the bell rings to help clean up the classroom. Keep putting your best foot forward in all you do, Paola.
7th Grade: Zaniyah Martinez: Zaniyah is both a kind and respectful classmate who always shows up to class with a positive attitude towards learning. She sets a great example for all of her peers both in and out of the classroom and has been a joy to have in class.
8th Grade: Gustavo Diaz Casimiro: Gustavo comes to each and every class focused and ready to learn. He represents everything an engaged student should be and we are very proud of his daily efforts and insights!
