Congratulations to Jessica Diaz for being selected as the DAR (Daughters of the American Revolution) GOOD Citizen from Hartford High School, Class of 2024! Jessica was selected for representing the four qualities of a DAR Good Citizen: Dependability, Service, Leadership and Patriotism and will be attending an Awards Ceremony luncheon in March.
HHS is holding another Career Day on February 16th! Stay tuned for details.
Students of the Week (2/9/24):
This week we have 4 seniors receiving student of the week awards.
Brooke Birmele (not pictured), Nevaeh Parks, Deidre Beltran and Harmony Bennett.
They were nominated by Miss Braddock for being exemplary leaders and stepping up to the plate to lead and run the blood drive on January 10th.
When Ms. Braddock was out sick, these students took the lead in organizing and running JMG's Blood Drive all day and ensuring all volunteers had what they need. The specialists from Versiti complimented them on their professionalism and positive contributions to ensuring the drive ran smoothly. Miss Braddock is so grateful that she was able to count on these students when she needed them most. Thank you for showing initiative and making a positive difference in our community! Our drive would not have been a success without you!
