Tonight is SENIOR NIGHT for Football, Cross Country, Cheer, and Band Seniors! Prior to Varsity Football's 7pm matchup against Centreville, all Seniors will be honored on the field. Seniors and parents need to be lined up on the field no later than 6:30 p.m. Tonight's game theme is GREEN OUT. Hartford High School has been selected as one of the high school sports programs to receive funds from the 2024 McDonald’s High School Sports Digital Fundraiser! On October 3rd, local area McDonald’s restaurants will be raising money for local high school sports programs. Restaurants will be donating 20% of all Mobile Order & Pay sales made in the McDonald’s App on Thursday, October 3rd, 2024 to our school’s athletic department.

Today, students are receiving training with our new SmartBoot Security System! Hartford Public Schools along with our School Board, are proud to take extra measures to ensure the safety and security of our students and staff! This is a multifaceted approach to safety that includes procedures we can utilize daily as well as in the event of a threat. Through close collaboration with our local first responders, we have implemented several products, as well as continued full training for our students and staff. The SmartBoot System is comprised of an interior door barrier device that helps us to create safe spaces in classrooms and offices. It has capabilities to notify our entire district of a lockdown and connect directly with first responders. Tomorrow (9/10/24), there will be a Washington DC meeting for any current 8th graders who have not yet signed up for this trip. The meeting will take place at 6:00 pm in Mrs. Morsaw's classroom, Room 122. Information provided will include what the trip involves, cost of trip, kick off of the laundry soap fundraiser, and a question/ answer session. If you have not signed up yet, please take the time to come to this informational meeting. If you have already signed up, you can stop in to pick up your Laundry Soap Fundraiser form that evening or pick it up from Mrs.Morsaw on Wednesday morning.
