Redwood Elementary will be hosting the Read Up and Eat Up summer lunch program from June 17-July 26 (M-F), Breakfast 7:45am-8:45am and Lunch 11:00am-12:15pm! Open to all kids 18 and under, meals have to be eaten at the school, no sack breakfast or lunch.

Nine guys from Hartford Boy’s track team went to the D3 state track meet Saturday in Kent City. The 4x800m relay team of Aiden McDonald, Josais Robles, Bobby Lenza and Alex Diaz jumped four seeds and finished 17th. The 4x100m relay team of Austin Reyna, Julien Rodarte, Alex Saldana and Caiden Smith had a huge PR with another school record breaking performance of 43.88 finishing in 9th place. Carlos Ruiz had a stellar performance dropping 8 seconds off his PR running a 10:40.08 in the 3200m. Caiden Smith competed in the 100m, 200m and long jump coming out with two all state medals placing 4th in the 200m and 6th in the long jump. Caiden completed his four year career as a two time all state finisher in the long jump and three time all state finisher in the 200.
