6th Grade: Esther Soto - Esther is always willing to help others and is incredibly responsible. She comes to class ready to learn and always does her best work. Thank you!
7th Grade: Evander Benavides - Evander is a pleasure to have in class and always comes prepared and ready to learn. He thoughtfully participates in discussions, asks insightful questions, supports his classmates, and is a valued member of our 7th-grade community.
8th Grade: Laila Hale - Layla comes to class daily with a determination to learn and do her best. She simply does not have bad days, and holds herself to a very high standard. Her teachers are all very impressed with her and are very proud of her efforts!

The 57th Annual Holiday Bazaar is taking place this weekend on Saturday, November 8th in the middle school gym. Stop by to check out items from over 80 vendors, including original items from our own Mrs. Olds' Design Lab!

Hartford High School will be hosting a “Stuff the Bus” Food Drive competition between grade levels. The event will take place on Thursday, November 13th from 8:30-1:15 PM at Harding’s Friendly Market. Classes will be collecting cans during different time slots for the competition. The class that collects the most cans wins!
Students can bring in cans throughout the week and drop them off in a designated classroom or they can bring them the day of the event. Student Council members from each class will be working their shift at Hardings, so if community members want to bring food, we will be there to collect it. Be sure to drop it off at the correct time if you are supporting a specific grade level. All food will be donated to the local food pantry.
Here are the donation times for the classes.
Freshmen: 8:30-9:30 AM
Seniors: 9:30-10:30 AM
Sophomores: 10:30-11:30 AM
Juniors: 12:15-1:15 PM

6th Grade: Ethen Williamson - Ethen always comes to class prepared and ready to learn. If a student near him is struggling, Ethen offers to help. Ethen has an upbeat personality which makes him fun to be around. Way to show HUSKY Pride!
7th Grade: Noelia Huaracha-Rivera - Noelia is a great student who always does the right thing. She performs extremely well academically and sets a wonderful example for other students in the building.
8th Grade: Addi Campbell - Addi works hard and excels in her classes. She is respectful, kind and fun to have in class. Her teachers are proud of her efforts!

HHS Students visited the Western Michigan University campus today. The Gear Up program offered a College Jeopardy tournament and then hosted a campus tour, lunch in the Valley Dining Center, and ended the day with an Admissions presentation. Thank you to WMU Gear Up for all you do for our students!
