The high school library will be open to the public from 3:00-4:00 pm starting today until Wednesday (5/7) for anyone in the community that would like to take any of the books that are left.
The shelves on the wall need to go as well. You will need to bring your own tools to remove them.

8th Grade: Kendra Morales Sanchez: Kendra is a very hard worker who comes to class every day and gives her best effort. Her teachers are all very proud of her!
7th Grade: Izmael Castro: Izmael is a dedicated student who consistently comes to class ready to learn and always puts forth his best effort. He leads by example, is well liked by his classmates, and we truly appreciate his hard work and positive attitude.
6th Grade: Sebastian Gutierrez: Sebastian is a hard working and dedicated student who shows great behaviors while coming to class prepared and on time. Keep up the great work for the rest of this year!

9th Vivana Banda (not pictured), nominated by Mr. Whitman, Viviana has maintained an A throughout the entire semester. She has also been a leader in group discussions this week as she asked questions to other students to get them involved in the discussion.
10th Evelyn Barrientos, nominated by Mrs. Macias, for always being prepared for class, trying her best, and for coming out of her shell. Your effort does not go unnoticed.

Eli has found a subject he is interested in for Forensic Science and he has excelled with this concept! He has shown excellent work for the past couple of weeks, keep up the great work Eli!

Clara Groh, nominated by Miss Valdes: Clare cares about her schoolwork and is always willing to step up and lead those around her. She has been a huge help to Miss Valdes the last two years, and she appreciates her immensely. Good luck in your future Clara!

Van Buren Cass District Health Department has scheduled four community clinics that will offer free Hearing, Vision, and Dental screenings for kindergarteners. These clinics are open to incoming students at all districts, and no appointment is necessary. Locations, dates, and times are available on the attached flyer.
