Congratulations to Jose Sanchez who has been accepted into the Early Middle College program! The Van Buren Middle College (VBMC) is an accelerated college program designed to allow a student to complete a high school diploma and up to a full Associate’s Degree or college certification at the same time over the course of three years (grades 11, 12, and one additional year sometimes referred to as year 13 or the “5th year”). Jose will start the program next fall!

Hartford Families, At Approximately 11:30 am, a power outage caused Hartford Public Schools to lose power. Currently, our phone system is down. Afternoon transportation to VO Tech has been canceled. ATTENTION Current 7th Grade Families: Planning is underway for the 2025 trip to Washington DC. This trip is for students who are currently 7th graders at Hartford Middle School. Friday, April 12, 2024 will be the last day to get the Early Sign on Bonus from WorldStrides.
