Tomorrow (9/10/24), there will be a Washington DC meeting for any current 8th graders who have not yet signed up for this trip. The meeting will take place at 6:00 pm in Mrs. Morsaw's classroom, Room 122. Information provided will include what the trip involves, cost of trip, kick off of the laundry soap fundraiser, and a question/ answer session. If you have not signed up yet, please take the time to come to this informational meeting. If you have already signed up, you can stop in to pick up your Laundry Soap Fundraiser form that evening or pick it up from Mrs.Morsaw on Wednesday morning. Another tradition we are celebrating this year is the Staff members of the week from the football program! The varsity football team picked Angie Glover (Food Services Director) and Randy Slone (Day Custodian) as the staff members of the week. Players said they appreciate the support these two show the program on a daily basis! They appreciate all the food Mrs. Glover provides on a daily basis! Their favorite is bosco sticks and they appreciate the ala carte choices at lunch time. Players have said they appreciate the way Mr. Slone greets them everyday when they come into school. They also noticed how the high school seemed to “sparkle” at the beginning of the year.
Thanks again Randy Slone and Angie Glover for all the support you provide the players, students, and staff at Hartford High School! Go Huskies!
¡Otra tradición que celebramos este año es la de los miembros del personal de la semana del programa de fútbol! El equipo universitario de fútbol eligió a Angie Glover (directora de servicios de alimentos) y a Randy Slone (conserje diurno) como miembros del personal de la semana. ¡Los jugadores dijeron que aprecian el apoyo que estos dos muestran al programa a diario! ¡Aprecian toda la comida que la Sra. Glover les brinda a diario! Su favorito son los palitos de bosco y aprecian las opciones a la carta a la hora del almuerzo. Los jugadores han dicho que aprecian la forma en que el Sr. Slone los saluda todos los días cuando llegan a la escuela. También notaron cómo la escuela secundaria parecía “brillar” a principios de año.

The junior class of 2026 has kicked off their fall mum fundraiser! Nine-inch mums are being sold for $10. Money and order forms are due to Mrs. Manning by September 20th, and the flowers will be delivered on Thursday, October 3rd. See any junior or Mrs. Manning to purchase. Proceeds will be used to put on Prom 2025!
